Ayman Aly

Ayman Aly ( Arabic أيمن علي, DMG Aiman ​​ʿAlī ; born 1966 in Damiette , Egypt ) is an Egyptian doctor and businessman. In 2012 he became part of the advisory team to Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi .

He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Cairo University in 1991 .

He was the vice chairman and secretary general of the Federation of Islamic Organizations in Europe ( Federation of Islamic Organizations in Europe ; FIOE). Ayman Aly was one of the signatories of the Amman Message (Amman Message) of of 2004.

Ayman Aly was one of the first advisors to Egypt's then President Mohammed Morsi since August 2012 , specializing in the affairs of Egyptian expatriates. He has also served on the Constituent Assembly in Egypt.

Ayman Aly and four other members of the Mursi administration have been in custody in the al-Aqrab section of the Torah prison in Cairo since December 2013 . According to a report by Human Rights Watch , they are accused, among other things, of being members of an illegal organization and of disseminating inaccurate information that threatens national security.
