The casino garden is framed by the Luis Street to the north, Casino street with the Evangelical Association house in the east, the under monument protection standing administration building of the tax office in the southern Kolpingstraße and the standing also protected building of the Municipal Library of Wuppertal in the west.

The name of the park and the adjoining street was given by the Casino company on the site of today's tax office, which existed from 1805 to 1936. In its early days, the company was called Museum , so Kasinostraße was called Museumsstraße at that time. North of the park is the street Am Kasinogarten in the immediate vicinity .
