Kaso Perdido is a ska-punk group from Tarragona , Spain .
history
Kaso Perdido was founded in Tarragona, Spain in 2008 and emerged from various projects by the musicians in which they already made music together. Alon on bass, Mayo as singer and guitarist, Paw on keyboard and Bilbo on drums quickly focused their music on a mixture of Ska, Punk, Rock with elements of Latin American music. At the end of 2008 the first album "¿Cierras los Ojos?" recorded at Studio EQ in Tarragona. With this first CD Kaso Perdido achieved an enormous success, so that in 2009, in addition to concerts in Spain, they played a tour through Mexico . At the beginning of 2010 the second CD "Despierta Revolucion" was recorded in the Most Wanted Studio in Altafulla and was released in April 2010. The Despierta Revolucion tour took Kaso Perdido to Spain , Germany , the Czech Republic , Croatia and again to Mexico. Keyboardist Paw left Kaso Perdido at the end of 2010, drummer Bilbo at the beginning of 2011, both for private reasons, without falling out with the band. As a result of this restructuring, Gull joined the band as second guitarist, Konan on saxophone, Xavi as trumpeter, Gerard as new drummer and Kilez as new keyboard player.
The band publishes their CDs under a Creative Commons license and makes them available as MP3s on their website free of charge .
