Kaspar Frey (lawyer)
Kaspar Frey (born September 26, 1957 in Düsseldorf ) is a German legal scholar.
Life
From 1976 to 1982 he studied law and economics at the University of Münster . He passed the legal state exams in 1982 ( Hamm ) and 1986 (Düsseldorf) . He did his doctorate and habilitation under Herbert Wiedemann at the University of Cologne , where he worked until 1995. Since 1996 he has held the chair for civil law, commercial and economic law at the European University Viadrina .
