Kat Richardson

Kat Richardson (born May 22, 1964 in California ) is an American fiction writer from a genre mix of science fiction / fantasy and mystical crime thriller such as the Greywalker Urban Fantasy series.

Life

Kat Richardson was born the middle of three children in California. As the daughter of an English teacher with a degree in Classical Literature, she came into contact with literature at an early age. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in magazine editing from Cal State Long Beach . For a while she worked in the magazine business in Los Angeles , then for the Gemological Institute of America . She currently lives on a houseboat in Seattle with her husband . There she also learned technical editing. Although she no longer lives in California, she supports efforts to keep ferrets as pets in California.
