Katarzyna Anna Lubnauer b. Libudzisz (born July 24, 1969 in Łódź ) is a Polish politician, Sejm member of the 8th legislative period.

She graduated from the University of Łódź with a degree in mathematics in 1993 . She worked briefly as a teacher in a middle school, after which she was employed as an academic teacher at the University of Łódź. In 2001 she received her PhD in Mathematical Sciences from the Institute of Mathematics at the University of Łodź with a specialization in probability theory based on the paper “Limit Theorems in Quantum Probability Theory”. Then she was appointed lecturer at the chair for probability theory and statistics.

Since 1993 she has worked in the Democratic Union , since 1994 in the Freedom Union. She was a member of the board of the party organization of this party at the University of Warsaw .

From 1998 to 2002 she served on the Łódź City Council.

In the parliamentary elections in 2015, she applied in the Łodź district and was elected from the list of the newly founded “ Nowoczesna ” party (“Modernity”) to the Sejm of the 8th legislative period with 18,549 votes. She is considered one of the most active MPs and appears often in the Polish media.

On April 26, 2017, she was elected chairman of the Nowoczesna Party's Club of Representatives.

On November 25, 2017, she surprisingly won the regular election as the new party chairman, replacing founder Ryszard Petru .

Before the 2019 parliamentary elections, she became a member of the newly formed citizens' coalition.

In the parliamentary elections on October 13, 2019, she was elected Sejm deputy for the 9th legislative period with 28,205 votes.
