Katedralen (Norwegian for cathedral ) is an icy canyon with sheer cliffs in Queen Maud Land, East Antarctica . It is located in the Mühlig-Hofmann Mountains on the northwest side of Jøkulkyrkja .
Norwegian cartographers, who also named the canyon, mapped it using aerial photographs and measurements made by the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960).
