Kathalijne Buitenweg
Kathalijne Maria Buitenweg (born March 27, 1970 in Rotterdam ) is a Dutch politician of the GroenLinks party .
Life
After finishing school, Buitenweg studied history at the University of Amsterdam , where she specialized in European and American studies. In addition to her studies, Buitenweg was politically active and a member of the GroenLinks party .
From 1999 to 2009, Buitenweg was a member of the European Parliament for two legislative terms . Buitenweg is married to the politician Maarten van Poelgeest and has two children with him.
