Waldemar Müller (moderator)
Waldemar Müller (* 1918 ; † August 31, 2001 ) was a German radio presenter .
Müller gained his first microphone experience as a speaker child at the Leipzig broadcaster . After the end of the Second World War he worked as a freelancer for the WDR in Cologne . In 1958 he switched to Radio Luxemburg , where he became famous under the pseudonym Ferdy . In 1962 he went back to public broadcasting and became a permanent speaker and programmer at SDR .
In the 1980s he worked as a presenter at Radio Brenner , then at the Baden-Württemberg StadtRadio chain. He then worked again at short notice in Sterzing and for a Stuttgart hospital broadcaster, but soon retired in Stuttgart.
Müller recorded the German version of Lorne Greene's hit Ringo under his stage name Ferdy . On the back of the single was the title Sand, also previously recorded by Greene .
