Katharina Mouratidi
Katharina Mouratidi (* 1971 ) is a German photographer , curator and lecturer. She lives and works in Berlin .
Katharina Mouratidi is a founding member of the Society for Humanistic Photography (GfHF) and has been the organization's artistic director and managing director since 2008. In this function, she plans, curates and leads photographic projects in cooperation with renowned art and cultural institutions at home and abroad.
Her own work is represented in numerous collections and has already been shown in many solo and group exhibitions, including: Willy-Brandt-Haus Berlin, Rheinisches Landesmuseum Bonn, Palau Robert (Barcelona, Spain), Fotofest Houston (USA), George Eastman House (USA), Lianzhou Photography Festival (China), Thessaloniki Museum of Photography (Greece), Primavera Fotográfica (Spain) and Photokina Cologne. Her photographs have been published in: Cicero , Magazin der Frankfurter Rundschau, European Photography (Germany), Marie Claire and Colors Magazine (Italy), Ojo de Pez (Spain), British Marie Claire (Great Britain).
