Katharina Starlay
Katharina Starlay (* 1966 in Berlin ) is a German image consultant, fashion designer and non-fiction author .
Career
She studied fashion design at LETTE-Verein Berlin and also worked as a model. With her first self-employment from 1988 to 1991, she was one of the first style and image consultants in German-speaking countries. She then worked for nine years as a manager in retail (fashion and cosmetics sectors) and lived in Switzerland for 13 years.
Starlay works as a consultant and “dresser” for dress code, corporate fashion, brand image and etiquette . She is a member of the German Knigge Council and a style columnist for Manager Magazin . Her publications focus on appearance, demeanor and behavior in professional life and the (sustainable) use of textile resources. She made her debut in 2012 with “Stilgeheimnisse” at Frankfurter Allgemeine BUCH .
