Katharinenplaisir

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Katharinenplaisir is an estate belonging to Cleebronn in the Heilbronn district in northern Baden-Württemberg .

history

The manor, located in the Mainzisch Cleebronner area, outside the Cleebronns settlement, near the hamlet of Treffentrill below the Michaelsberg , was built in 1733 by the Bönnigheim bailiff Franz Xaver Grimm and named after his wife. In 1776, the builder's son sold the estate to a Count von Martinego and his housekeeper, which was met with criticism from the pledgee of the Mainz rulership, Count Stadion , who considered the illegitimate relationship of the owners to be dangerous and suspicious . As early as 1779 the estate came to Johann Philipp Gaum, who was also criticized for his marital relationships. Via Louis Grimm, the court came into the possession of the Ludwigsburg court gardener Richter until 1807.

In March 1809, Barbara Juliane von Krüdener and Maria Gottliebin Kummer tried to found a "Christian colony" on the farm. The company failed because both women were expelled from Württemberg in May 1809.

The owners of the estate changed frequently. In 1943 the farm was temporarily owned by Carl Friedrich Goerdeler . After the Second World War, the factory owner Gotthold Haffner acquired the property.
