The Cathedral of the Assumption of Our Lady ( Slovak Katedrála Nanebovzatia Panny Márie ) is the cathedral church of the Diocese of Rožňava in the eastern Slovak central town of Rožňava .

A parish church was built on the site of today's cathedral in 1304 . This was rebuilt in a late Gothic style around 1500. A picture window of the miner's patroness Anna from the year 1513 with a realistic depiction of the ore mining and processing in the area around the city has been preserved. After the foundation of the Rosenau diocese, the parish church became its cathedral church in 1776 and the church was redesigned in the late Baroque style (pulpit and main altar, 1779). The wall paintings depicting the life of Mary date from the 19th century.

The church was originally without a tower, but in 1779 it was given a single baroque-classicist bell tower.
