The Cathedral of the Holy Mother of God ( Armenian Սուրբ Աստվածածին վանք or Արաբկիրի մայր եկեղեցի Arabkiri mayr yekeghets'i , Turkish Arapkir Ana Kilisesi ) was a 13th century Armenian apostolic cathedral that was destroyed in 1957. The ruin is located in Arapgir in Malatya Province .

Arapgir Cathedral was built in 1249. As one of the largest Armenian churches in Anatolia, it offered space for more than 3,000 people. It was looted and burned down during the Armenian genocide from 1915 in the Ottoman Empire , then rebuilt and used as a school.

In 1950 the municipality of Arapgir decided to demolish the cathedral. On September 18, 1957, the cathedral was blown up.
