Katherine "Katie" Bell (born February 5, 1988 in Columbus ) is an American diver . She starts in 10 m tower and synchronized jumping.

Bell came to water jumping through gymnastics at the age of 13 . In 2005 she was accepted into the national team and has been competing in international competitions ever since. However, she was initially unable to qualify for the international season highlights. In 2010 Bell injured his shoulder and worried about the continuation of her career, but she returned to the tower the following year and celebrated at the US championship with second place from the 10-meter tower and the title with Mary Beth Dunnichay Successful national title fights in 10 m synchronized jumping. Bell achieved her greatest success to date at the 2012 Olympic qualification. With second place from the tower, she qualified for the Olympic Games in London .

Bell studied at Ohio State University in her hometown and also started for the university's sports team, the Buckeyes . She was trained there by Vince Panzano. In 2009 she was able to win a title at the college championships in high diving.
