Catherine Lisa Bell (born August 14, 1968 in London ) is an American actress .
life and career
Bell is the daughter of an Iranian and a British . After her parents divorced, she moved to Los Angeles with her mother at the age of three and has been a US citizen since she was twelve . She was already in front of the camera as a teenager for commercials, first tried a medical degree at UCLA in her professional career , which she gave up in the second year of study in favor of a modeling career in Japan . This ended after four months, because the lifestyle required in this industry did not suit her. She returned to Los Angeles to work on her acting career.
After small short appearances in various series such as Hercules , Dream On and Friends (1995), Bell got a three-line role in the series JAG - On behalf of the honor in 1996 . A few months after this brief appearance, JAG was looking for a new leading actress, and Bell was able to convince the producer, Donald P. Bellisario , of her suitability for the role, which she played until the end of the series in April 2005. From 2007 to 2013 she played one of the leading roles in all 117 episodes of the US television series Army Wives .
Bell is a member of Scientology . She lives in Los Angeles and has been married to fellow actor Adam Beason since 1994 . The couple have a daughter and a son. In 2011, Bell announced the split from Beason.
