Kathleen Frances Daly Pepper

Kathleen Frances Daly Pepper (born May 28, 1898 in Napanee , Ontario , † 1994 in Toronto , Ontario; born Kathleen Daly ) was a Canadian portrait and landscape painter.

Daly Pepper married her fellow artist George Pepper in 1929. The artist couple were interested in the First Nations tribes ; Kathleen Frances Daly Pepper also carried out extensive studies of the Inuit . She is seen as a significant part of the movement towards a Canadian art of the time and was a member of the Canadian Group of Painters, a successor group to the influential Group of Seven .
