Kathleen King von Alvensleben (born December 5, 1959 in Laredo , Texas ) is a German architect born in the United States who has carried out many major projects (including the expansion of the international trade center ) in Berlin since the fall of the Wall .

Among other things, she is a board member and representative for sponsoring from the USA in the Friends of the Berlin Palace .

She is married to real estate expert Busso von Alvensleben.
