Gertrude Kathleen Shaw (born January 18, 1903 in Barton-upon-Irwell , England , † 1983 in Wales ) was a British figure skater who started in a single run .

Kathleen Shaw won the first women's competition at British championships in 1927. Madge Syers , Dorothy Greenhough-Smith and Phyllis Johnson had won their titles in the men's competition as there was no women's competition yet. In 1929 and 1930 Shaw was again British champion. At the first European championship , in which there was a separate women's competition, Shaw took eighth place in Berlin in 1930 . She took part in three world championships , her greatest success was winning the bronze medal at the world championship in Stockholm in 1926 , behind Herma Szabó and Sonja Henie . Shaw represented Great Britain at two Olympics . In 1924 in Chamonix she was seventh and in 1928 in St. Moritz fourteenth.
