The Catholic University of Córdoba ( Spanish : Universidad Católica de Córdoba , short: UCC ) is a Catholic private university based in Córdoba , Argentina .

The UCC is the oldest private university in the country and is run by the Jesuit order . The Catholic University of Córdoba is part of the worldwide network of Jesuit universities in over 90 countries and is an active member of the network of Jesuit universities in Latin America (AUSJAL). The rector is Alfonso Gómez SJ.

The Catholic University , which was founded in 1956, has around 10,000 students enrolled in the Bachelor, Master and PhD programs. The campus with ten faculties is about ten kilometers outside of the city center.
