Kathrin Eckert

Kathrin Eckert (born January 27, 1983 ; † July 17, 2014 ) was an Austrian radio presenter .

Life

Kathrin Eckert passed her Matura in 2001 at the Bundesgymnasium Tanzenberg in Maria Saal . She then studied journalism and communication science and came to the private radio broadcaster Antenne Kärnten in Klagenfurt in 2003 through an internship . In 2011 she completed her studies with the thesis The Importance of Modern Brand Management for Radio Stations - using the example of Antenne Kärnten and the academic degree Magister at the University of Klagenfurt .

At Antenne Kärnten she initially worked as an editor and announced the weather before switching to moderation. Eckert recently accompanied the listeners in a five-hour entertainment program through the morning and was deputy program director. In July 2014, at the age of 31, she died of cerebral edema.
