Katharina "Kathy" Weber (born September 10, 1980 in Steinheim ) is a German television presenter .

Life

Kathy Weber grew up in Barntrup in North Rhine-Westphalia . She studied business administration and began doing internships in television and radio in 2003. This was followed, among other things, by an internship at RTL as an editor and reporter as well as training as a moderator. In 2006 she was hired to present the program Alles Nick on the children's channel Nick . Several moderation jobs followed, including for Nickelodeon for the Kids Choice Award and for the Golden Camera .

In 2008 Weber founded a moderation school in Berlin, which she directs and where she also teaches. She has been with kabel eins since 2010 . In 2012 Weber and her team from Focus TV received the special award for the journalist award 2012 of the taxpayers' association in North Rhine-Westphalia for the stone of contention . From January 2013 she moderated the daily program Adventure Life - Discovering anew every day and traveled for the program Survive in ... to various countries. Since 2015 she has been working as a presenter for K1 - Das Magazin .

Weber is an ambassador for the child protection angel association . She has a son from a previous relationship and lives in Berlin. Their daughter and husband Meik Stamer were born in July 2016. Weber also offers advice for parents and educators on the subject of non-violent communication .
