Katja Lel ( Russian Катя Лель ), real name Jekaterina Nikolajewna Tschuprinina ( Russian Екатерина Николаевна Чупринина , born September 20, 1974 in Nalschik , Kabardino-Balkarian ASSR ) is a Russian pop singer.

biography

Lel attended the music school in Nalchik before moving to Moscow in 1994 to study at the renowned Gnessin Institute . In 1998 she successfully completed her studies and released her first album that same year. In 2003 she started working with the music producer Maxim Fadejew , under whom she changed her music style, among other things.

Since then she has been considered a successful pop singer who regularly tours the CIS countries .
