Katja Maria Vogt

Katja Maria Vogt (* 1968 ) is a German philosopher .

Life

She studied philosophy, psychology and biology in Munich ( HfPh and LMU ). After graduating as Dr. phil. at the HfPh 1996 she was a research assistant at the Humboldt University in Berlin from 2000 to 2002 . She teaches philosophy at Columbia University (since 2009 Professor , 2006–2009 Associate Professor, 2002–2006 Assistant Professor).

Her research interests are ancient philosophy and ethics.
