Katja Kathrin Maurer (* 1991 in Makinsk , Kazakhstan) is a German politician ( Die Linke ). In the state elections in Thuringia in 2019 , she received a mandate on her party's state list.

Life

Katja Maurer passed her Abitur exam in Gotha in 2009 . She then studied cultural and social anthropology at the University of Vienna with a bachelor's degree. This was followed by a master's degree in political communication research at the University of Erfurt , graduating in 2014. She then worked for the Thuringian state parliament members Susanne Hennig-Wellsow and Christian Schaft until 2019 .

Party and politics

In Erfurt, Katja Maurer was a member of the city council of the party Die Linke from 2014 to 2019. In 2019 she received a mandate in the city council of Erfurt.
