Katja and the Ghosts is a mini-series in eight parts produced in 1992 under the direction of Jindřich Polák . The content of the series is the story of the little girl Katja, who is given a haunted house in Vienna's Prater . Through her belief in ghosts she has the ability to bring three ghosts, which served as ghost figures, back to life.

In 1993 Jindřich Polák received the Adolf Grimme Prize with silver for the series .
