Koyuki (小雪; full name Koyuki Katō [加藤 小雪]; born December 18, 1976 in Zama , Kanagawa Prefecture ) is a Japanese model and actress .

life and career

In 1995, Koyuki made his debut in "non-no" magazine and two years later got into the modeling business. Since then she has been a sought-after model in numerous advertising campaigns in magazines and TV commercials, especially for the electronics company National Panasonic .

Koyuki has also starred in numerous Japanese TV drama and films. In 2000, Keizoku, the first film with her, was released. In 2003 she had her first role in an international production in Last Samurai as Taka, who was hosted by Tom Cruise during his captivity. She was nominated for Best Actress at the Japanese Academy Awards 2006 .

Since April 2011, Koyuki has been married to the Japanese actor Ken'ichi Matsuyama , whom she met while filming Kamui - The Last Ninja . The couple have three children together.
