Katsuhiro Minamoto ( Japanese 皆 本 勝 弘 , Minamoto Katsuhiro ; born July 2, 1972 in Hiroshima Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Minamoto learned to play soccer on the school team at Hiroshima Technical High School . He signed his first contract with Yanmar Diesel (today: Cerezo Osaka) in 1991 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the Japan Soccer League . At the end of the 1990/91 season, the club was relegated to Division 2. In 1994 he was with the club master of the Japan Football League and rose to the J1 League . In 1994 he reached the final of the Kaiser Cup . For the club he completed 172 games. In 1998 he moved to league rivals Sanfrecce Hiroshima . For the club he completed 26 first division games. At the end of 1998 he ended his career as a football player.
