Kauhajoen Karhu is a Finnish basketball club from Kauhajoki .

history

The association was founded in 1910. Basketball has been played in Kauhajoki since the 1940s, and other sports are also practiced at the club.

In the past, the club shuttled between lower-class leagues and the Korisliiga, the top division, to which they last rose in 2009 and have played there ever since. A total of five seasons were completed in this one.

Karhu made it to the finals of the Finnish Basketball Cup in 2012 and 2013, but lost both times.
