Minoru Kawawada

Minoru Kawawada (born January 16, 1952 in Ibaraki Prefecture , Japan) is a Karateka (7th Dan ) and works as Vice General Manager of the Technical Division of the Japan Karate Association (JKA).

Kawawada works as a full-time instructor at the JKA headquarters in Tokyo and head of the Hoitsugan and has long been a successful competitor. In 1985 he became world champion at the 1st Shoto World Cup in Kata and Kumite .
