The Kawaweogama Lake is a lake in Thunder Bay District in the western Canadian province of Ontario .
The approximately 40 km² large lake has a lung shape and is divided into an eastern and western basin. The river Allan Water flows into the lake on the southwest bank from the small Sunray Lake . On the north bank of the western part of the lake, the river leaves the Kawaweogama Lake again. With the exception of the northwest shore, Kawaweogama Lake is within the Brightsand River Provincial Park .
The Canadian National Railway's transcontinental railroad runs north of the lake and crosses a small side bay.
Kawaweogama Lake is usually reached by seaplane. It is a destination for fishing tourists who mainly catch eyeglasses and pike here .
