The Allan Water (also Allanwater River ) is a headwaters of the Ogoki River in the Thunder Bay District of the Canadian province of Ontario .
It has its origin about 40 km southeast of Savant Lake in the small lake Two Lake . It initially flows through the two smaller lakes Gridiron Lake and Sassafras Lake in a westerly direction . It then turns north and meets the southwest arm of Seseganaga Lake . It flows through almost its entire length from south to north. Allan Water flows over the small Sunray Lake to Kawaweogama Lake , which it also flows through in a northerly direction. Shortly after leaving the lake, the Brightsand River joins the river from the right at Allanwater Bridge . The Canadian National Railway crosses the river below the mouth. Allan Water is now within Wabakimi Provincial Park . It continues its run north. It flows through Brennan Lake and Granite Lake , overcomes several rapids and finally flows into Wabakimi Lake . The length of Allan Water is approximately 160 km.
