Kay Wohlsen

Kay Wohlsen (* 1953 in Süderbrarup ) is a German television journalist and television presenter .

Life

Kay Wohlsen was born in 1953 in Süderbrarup and spent his youth in Flensburg . The musicians Larry Evers and Shanger Ohl (group Godewind ) had founded the “Trio Albatros” together with Kay Wohlsen in 1976, which performed in various discos in the Federal Republic of Germany. The change from music to journalism followed relatively quickly. In Flensburg, Kay Wohlsen began an apprenticeship (internship) at the Schleswig-Holstein newspaper publisher . In 1985 Wohlsen switched to radio, where he worked as a radio editor for Norddeutscher Rundfunk in the NDR studio in Flensburg . He also coordinated the television editors' operations there.

Kay Wohlsen researched and also wrote for the German Press Agency (dpa). In 1987 he moved from the Flensburg studio to the national broadcasting company of the NDR in Kiel, where he worked for the television editor of the Schleswig-Holstein magazine. In 1990 he hosted the "Kieler Treff" live from the Kieler Woche together with Anne Karin . In 1999 he went back to Studio Flensburg as a television correspondent, and since 2004 he has been working again at the Kiel NDR radio station. In 2005 the Schleswig-Holstein Magazin presented op Platt. Kay Wohlsen is currently working as a process editor for Schleswig-Holstein Magazin. He is also a book author.

Kay Wohlsen lives in a suburb of Flensburg.
