history

The foundation by the wool dyer A. Kayser dates back to 1765. Initially, the company was active in the manufacture of cloth and clothing fabrics, mainly for the Prussian Army .

Production has been for the automotive industry since 1960.

In 2014, the group employed 1,957 people and achieved sales of EUR 265.53 million, of which EUR 55.3 million were within the European Union. Overall managing director is Kurt-Heinz Borth.

Products

The automotive division develops, produces and sells filters, valves, lines, air ducts and custom-made products. These parts are supplied as modules and ready-to-install systems. On the other hand, the Kayser Group develops, produces and sells textile filter media. These products are used in industrial filters for the dry dedusting of hot gas.

The group has production sites in Germany, Spain, Hungary, Poland, China, Mexico and the USA. The Kayser Group also has sales offices in India and the USA.

Further company locations with plants are in Glauchau (Saxony), Puebla (Mexico), Fulton (USA), Berrioplano / Navarra, (Spain), Batorowo (Poland), Klodzko (Poland), Komárom (Hungary) as well as in Suzhou and Changchun (China) ).
