Jonathan Patrick McCarty
Jonathan Patrick McCarty (born January 24, 1982 in Allen , Texas ) is a retired American cyclist .
As a U23 driver, Jonathan Patrick McCarty won a stage each in 2002 at the Ronde de l'Isard d'Ariège and at La Transalsace International. At the Ronde de l'Isard d'Ariège, he was also able to win the overall ranking. In 2004 he turned pro at US Postal . In 2006 he switched to the Swiss cycling team Phonak . Since this broke up at the end of the season, he signed a contract with Slipstream Chipotle for 2007 . With this team he won the team time trial at the start of the Giro d'Italia 2008 . From the 2009 to 2013 season he drove for teams with a lesser reputation and then ended his international career.
