Kaysha (born January 22, 1974 in Kinshasa ; actually Edward Mokolo Jr. ) is a French rapper, singer and producer.

biography

Kaysha was born in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and moved to France when she was seven. Kaysha became known for the song "Bounce Baby", which uses a sample by the West Indian band Kassav called Oulé and was released just like "Telephone" on his album I'm Ready .

In the following album, Worldwidechico , he worked a. a. with Wu-Tang Clan's Killah Priest . His song "On dit quoi", from his third album It's All Love , was a big hit in Africa and at the same time the first release on his own label Sushiraw .
