Passi (born December 21, 1972 in Brazzaville , Republic of the Congo ; real name Passi Ballende ) is a French hip-hop artist.

biography

In 1979 he moved with his family to Sarcelles in the Parisian suburb . Together with his school friend Stomy Bugsy , he founded the group Ministère AMER . Her first album was released in 1992. In order to be able to concentrate fully on the music, Passi dropped out of his studies of agricultural sciences at the University of Paris.

In 1997 his first solo album Les tentations appeared , which sold over 450,000 copies. 1999 the album Racines of the project Bisso na Bisso (German roughly: among us on Lingála ) appears, in which the artist Ärsenik , among others, is involved. In the same year, Passi's second solo album Genèse was released . His last album Odyssée was released in 2004.
