Kazimierz Bendkowski

Kazimierz Bendkowski (born January 2, 1948 in Warsaw , Poland ) is a Polish photo and film artist.

Life

Kazimierz Bendkowski studied camera in Łódź . In 1970 he was one of the co-founders of the Polish avant-garde photography group Warsztat Formy Filmowej (WFF) alongside Józef Robakowski . In 1982 he fled to Germany during the war in Poland. From 1984 to 2010, Bendkowski was an artistic technical assistant in the film and animation class at the Kassel Art Academy . During his time in Kassel, he supervised student projects, including the 1990 Oscar- winning animated film by the Lauenstein brothers Balance . Bendkowski now lives in Warsaw.
