Kazimierz Gilarski (born May 7, 1955 in Rudołowice , † April 10, 2010 in Smolensk ) was a Polish brigadier general .

Gilarski graduated from the Army Officers' College "Tadeusz Kościuszko" in Wroclaw . In 1978 he was transferred to the garrison in Warsaw, where he became a platoon leader and deputy head of the honorary company. In 1989 he completed his master's degree at the Pedagogical University in Kraków and then his postgraduate studies at the National Defense College . In 1993 Kazimierz Gilarski became deputy commander of the Warsaw garrison. On November 11, 2006, he was promoted to brigadier general and thus head of the garrison.

Kazimierz Gilarski died in a plane crash near Smolensk on April 10, 2010 on the way to a memorial service for the victims of the Katyn massacre . He left a wife and two children.
