Kazumasa Nagai

Kazumasa Nagai ( Japanese 永 井 一 正 , Nagai Kazumasa ; born April 20, 1929 in Ōsaka ) is a Japanese graphic and poster designer .

He was a co-founder of the Nippon Design Center (1960), which he chaired until 2001.

While his earlier works were constructed and seemed cool- abstract , he changed his style radically in the mid-1980s so as not to repeat himself, and achieved fame again with his hand-drawn pictures of animals and plants.

In 1964 he participated in documenta III in Kassel in the graphics department .
