Kazuya Inomata ( Japanese 猪 俣 和 弥 , Inomata Kazuya ; born October 30, 1985 ) is a Japanese biathlete .

Kazuya Inomata made his international debut in 2006 as part of the Biathlon European Cup races in Obertilliach and reached 65th place in a sprint in his first race. It took part in two other races, only to be used again in international IBU Cup races in 2009 . In 2010 the Japanese competed in his first race in the Biathlon World Cup with a sprint in Kontiolahti , where he was 89. He was also used with Fuyuko Suzuki , Natsuko Abe and Junji Nagai in the mixed relay, with which he came in 14th place. At Holmenkollen in Oslo , Inomata achieved his first World Cup points a little later with 35th place in the sprint. In the pursuit race that followed, he improved four places to 31st place. It wasn't just his best results in the World Cup, but his best international results ever. With 16 World Cup points won, he finished the season in 98th place in the overall World Cup, leaving many well-known biathletes behind.
