Keana Rose (born 22. March 1974 as Birgit Marianne Pal in Vienna ) is an Austrian singer.
Childhood and youth
Keana Rose was born as the second child of Zdenka and Ernest Pal. During her childhood she spent a lot of time in her mother's country of birth, today's Czech Republic , and discovered her love for the stage and singing at the age of four. Her family moved from the 19th district of Vienna to the Lower Austrian town of Würmla , where Keana Rose attended the secondary music school in Tulln , where she sang the lead voice on a record and released her actual first single "Tomorrow". Career
After starting out with an Austrian pop-rock band, she discovered her love for country music in 1996 . From 1999 to 2001 she was touring with the band BB Country Painters . At the end of 2001 she founded her own formation under the name “Keana Rose & Band”, with which she made it to the finals of the 2013 Country Oscar in St. Anton am Arlberg . Since then she has been touring German-speaking countries both with a band and solo. In 2016 she founded a record label Keana Rose Records and produced a CD "Phoenix".
Awards
In 2003 Keana Rose won the title of “Austrian Queen of Country Music” in the soloists / duos category.
