Kees van Hee

Kees Max van Hee (* 1946 ) is a Dutch computer scientist who was a professor at the TU Eindhoven .

Van Hee received his PhD in 1978 under Jaap Wessels at the TU Eindhoven (Bayesian control of Markov chains). He was professor in Eindhoven from 1985 until his retirement in 2011. He was also at the Econometric Institute of the University of Rotterdam, where he helped to develop the Portplan decision support system for the port of Rotterdam.

At the beginning of the 1990s he developed the tool for process modeling with higher Petri nets ExSpecT (Executable Specification Tool) and dealt with workflow management .

He has been an officer of the Order of Orange Nassau since 2011. He was a director at the consulting firm Bakkenist and after its takeover by Deloitte, a partner at Deloitte.
