Cornelis "Kees" van der Zalm (born September 30, 1901 in Loosduinen , †  December 25, 1957 ) was a Dutch football player .

Van der Zalm played for VUC Den Haag when he was used three times for the Dutch national team in 1927 and 1929 . The striker made his debut on June 12, 1927. In Copenhagen's Idrætsparken , bond coach Bob Glendenning changed him against Denmark in the 12th minute for Harry Dénis . The game ended 1-1. In the following year, van der Zalm was still part of the Elftal squad and was on the substitute bench in most international matches. It was only two years after his first appearance that he played his second game on June 9, 1929. Against Sweden he was allowed to play through the full 90 minutes at 2: 6 in Stockholm . Three days later there was another friendly match against Norway in Kristiania , in which van der Zalm moved from midfield to defense. The game ended 4: 4 and ended the international career of Kees van der Zalm.
