The Keeway RY8 is a 50 cc motor scooter from the Qianjiang Group . It is the successor to the RX8. It has an air-cooled 50 cm³ two-stroke engine with a horizontal single-cylinder Minarelli replica engine.
The 45 km / h version of the scooter is throttled, among other things, by a spacer ring in the variator so that it can be driven with an EU class AM driving license . Alternatively, the RY8 is available as a 25 km / h version and as an "SP" version with sports exhaust, digital speedometer (with rev counter, mobile phone display, etc.) and wave disc brakes .
Tuning

The tuning options are similar to the options with the original Minarelli engine. The stub shaft for the variator and the piston pin are thicker on Keeway engines than on Minarelli engines. Keeway engines have a 15.7 mm stub shaft and a 12 mm piston pin.
