Keiichi Zaizen ( Japanese 財 前 恵 一 , Zaizen Keiichi ; born June 17, 1968 in Hokkaido ) is a former Japanese football player and coach.

Career

Zaizen learned to play football on the school team at Muroran Otani High School . He signed his first contract with Nissan Motors in 1987 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the Japan Soccer League . With the club he became Japanese champions in 1988/89 and 1989/90 . With the founding of the professional league J.League in 1992 and the associated reorganization of Japanese football, Nissan Motors became Yokohama Marinos . In 1994 he was loaned to the second division club Kashiwa Reysol . In 1994 he was runner-up in the Japan Football League with the club . In 1995 he returned to Yokohama Marinos . In 1996 he moved to the second division Consadole Sapporo . At the end of 1996 he ended his career as a football player.
