Moderator Mario Barth inconspicuously asks ignorant “candidates” in everyday situations - for example in a department store, at the hairdresser's or at the butcher's - questions from all subject areas. The candidate receives 50 euros for each correct answer.

During the broadcast, Barth receives some support from celebrities such as Helge Schneider , Janine Kunze , Stefan Raab , Wigald Boning , Hans-Werner Olm or Ingo Appelt . Between the contributions, Barth comments on the strangest answers in front of an audience in a studio.
