The Keiservarden is the mountain plateau of the Norwegian mountain Digermulkollen . It is at an altitude of 366 meters above sea level near Bodø in Fylke Nordland . The name is made up of Kaiser and Varden , the Norwegian name for a cairn on a peak. It commemorates the second visit to the lookout point by Kaiser Wilhelm II on July 19, 1891.

The plateau offers a good view in all directions, and when the sky is clear , the silhouette of the Lofoten Mountains can be seen over the Vestfjord . As part of the music festival week, it serves as a venue for concerts of changing musical styles. In 2016, Bodø's stone steps were laid as part of the 200th anniversary of the city, so that the ascent from the Turisthytta can be done comfortably.
