A cellar lane festival is a typical wine festival in Austria's wine-growing regions , at which the winemakers in a cellar lane sell their products for sale.

The annually recurring, mostly several days in summer and autumn, the cellar lane festivals are held almost exclusively in cellar lanes. The organizer is usually the local viticulture association in which the winemakers have organized. The winegrowing associations take care of general tasks such as marketing, sufficient availability of parking spaces or the involvement of music groups. However, the winemakers work on their own account and offer home-made dishes in addition to their own wines. This is rounded off by cultural events such as readings, cellar tours or tastings. During a cellar lane festival, the use of the cellar lane away from the festival is only possible with difficulty and sometimes even prohibited.

After cellar lane festivals have long proven to be a lucrative additional income for the winegrowers, they have recently taken place again less frequently as a result of the cash register obligation and the obligation to also voluntarily and without pay family members to register for social security .
