Kemnade
The term Kemnade (derived from Kemenate , from Latin : caminata , -ae, heatable living space) denotes:
- the moated castle Haus Kemnade in Hattingen;
- derived from this: the Ruhr reservoir Kemnader See ;
- the knight's seat "House Kemnade" in Wissel , a district of Kalkar on the Lower Rhine;
- the Kemnade monastery in Bodenwerder;
- then: Kemnade (Bodenwerder) , a district of the city of Bodenwerder in the Holzminden district in Lower Saxony.
